To Shiva Shankar, the Swami of Gauri, we bow to him who has the Ganga in His dreadlocks. To Rudra Pashupati, the Swami of all beings, to the God of Kashi-Benares, has three eyes, and is always in bliss. The God with the blue throat, we bow to his feet. To You the slayer of all demons, putting an end to all sufferings. You are the protector of your devotees. Please finish the circle of birth and rebirth. Always praise and sing His name, Shiva Hare Shamb.

I salute Shambu, Lord of Uma, the Guru of the Gods; I salute the cause of the earth. I salute the One ornamented with the serpent, He who wears wild animal's skin, I respect that Master of all beings and I salute the One with sun, moon and fire as His eyes. I salute the lover of Mukunda . I salute your devotees. I bow to Shiva Shambo.

Bhima Shankara,Bejanatha vande, Nageshvra-Rameshvara
Omkarm-Mamaleshvaram smara haram
Mahakalam Malikaarjunam
Dhyayeta triyambaka, Somnatha, Manisham,
eka dasham aum namo.

O the tounge sings and praises Lord Vishwanath, the Lord of ashes, of Badri, Kedar, Bhimma, Shankar, Veshnath, Nageshwar, Rameshwara, Omkar, Mamleshwara, Mahakal and Malikaarjuna. Meditate on the God with three eyes, the Lord of Somnath and Manisham. Praise Shiva with eleven names.

Devam chandra Kala dharam phanidharam
Brahma kapala dharam
Gauri vamdharam trilocha na daram,
Rudrakshamala galam
Ganga ranga taranga pingala jata,
Jutam cha ganga dharam
Nilang bhaje vishwanatha siddha sahitam,
Somesha raksha karam

Sing the praise of the Lord with the moon on His forehead, with a necklace of snake, in his hand the skull of Brahma, whose consort is devi Gauri, Lord with three eyes, wearing a mala of rudraksha around His neck. Praise to Lord Shiva, who has bound the Ganga , with all It's waves, in His matted locks. Sing the praise of God Nilkantha, O Vishwanath along with all siddhas, to Shiva and Parwati, who protects all beings.

Ganga Sindhu, Sarasvati cha
Jamuna, Gaudavari, Narmada ,
Kaveri, Saryu, Mahindra tanaya,
Charmanvati, Vedika,
Shipra, Vetravali, Maha surnadi,
Kyata cha ya Gandika,
Purna purna jalei samudra sahita
Kurvanhtu nu mangalam.

The river Goddesses of Ganga, Sindhu, Saraswati, Yamuna, Gaudavari, Narvada, Kaveri, Soryu, being the body of Mahindra, the Charmanvati, Vidika, Kshipra, Vetravali, Mahasurnadhi and Gandika.These forms of holy water, along with the ocean, will lead us to liberation.

Shantakaram shikhar shayanam
Sarapa malam maheshwaram
Vishvadharam sfatik sadrisham,
Swachvarnam shubhangam
Sri Gauri kantam vishaya nayanam
Yogi bhirdhyana nigamyam
Vande shambu bhava bhaya haranam
Sarva lokyek nathanam

We bow to Shiva, who is of meditative appearance, wearing the garlands of snake, the Lord of the universe, transparent like a crystal, pure, nude and eternal, beloved of Gauri, capable of being reached through meditation by Yogis. Prostration to Shiva the Lord of all beings and all worlds .

Shantakaram bhujaga shayanam
Padmanabham suresham
Vishvadharam gagana sadrisham
Megha varnam shubhangam
Sri Laksmi kantama kamala nayanam
Yogi bhirdhyana nigamyam
Vande Vishnum bhava bhaya haram
Sarva lokayek nathanam

We bow to Vishnu, who is of peaceful appearance, reclining on the serpent, with a lotus springing up from the navel, Lord of Gods, the base of the universe, vast like the sky, coloured as the cloud, auspiciously limbed, beloved of Lakshmi, lotus -eyed, capable of being reached through meditation by Yogis. Prostration to Vishnu the Lord of all beings and all worlds.

Asit girisamam, syat kajlam sindu patre
Sura tarua vara shakha lekni patre murvi
likhati yadigrhitva sarada sarva kalam
tadpi tav guna na misha param na yati

Even if Goddess Saraswati would use a sword to flatten the mountain, use the sea as ink and a branch of Sundra´s Kalpa tree as a pen, writing for ages on the paper of the earth surface- it would not be enough to complete the praise song of the Lord's qualities.

Kara charana kritam vak kayam karm jam va
Shravan nayana jam va mansam va paradham
Vihitam vihitam va sarva metat shamasva
Jai jai karunabdhe, Sri Mahadeva Shambhu

Sins committed by hands and feet, through words of mouth or body, or by action arising from ears and eyes, or from the mind default, knowingly or unconsciously caused, forgive all these sins ocean of mercy. Hail, hail Oh Mahesh.

Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu
Guru Devo Maheshwara,
Guru saksat Para brahma
Tasmai Sri Guruve namha

Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu, Guru is Lord Mahesh (Shiva) -guru is the visible divine incarnation. Salutation to that Guru

Dhyana mulam Gurur murti,
Puja mulam Gurur padam
Mantra mulam Gurur vakyam
Moksa mulam Guru Kripa

My meditation is in the form of the Guru. My Puja is at the Guru's feet, my mantra is the word of the Guru, my liberation is the grace of the Guru.

Akhand manda la karam vyaptam yena chara charam
tatpadam darshitam yena tasmye Shri Gurave namha

Salutations to that respected Guru who has made it possible to realize Him and who pervades the cosmos.

Aakashat patitam toyam yatha gachati sagaram
Sarve devam namas karaha keshavam prati gachati

As all rain falls from the sky reaches the ocean, so shall the prayers to all Gods finally reach Lord Krishna.

Keshava kalesh nashaya, dukh nashaya Madhavah
Sri Hari papa nashaya, Govinda moksha dayakah

The name Keshava destroys all obstacles, Madhava´s name removes all sufferings, Sri Haris name destroys all sin, Govinda´s name gives liberation.

Mantra satyam, puja satyam satyam, devo niranjanam
Gurur vakyam sada satyam
Satya mekam param padam.

The mantra is Truth, the puja is Truth, Truth is our God. The speech of Guru is Truth, the only Truth is in devotion to Guruji's feet.

Anyatha sharanam nasti tvameva sharanam mma
tasmat karunya bhavena raksha raksha Mahesvara

I can't take refuge to any other than to Your lotus feet. We bow to Shiva, our protector, the form of love and compassion.

Sandyaha / prataha kale Shivam drista nisha papam vinashyati
Aajanam krit madhyahe sayanhe sapt janmani

Being blessed with the vision of Shiva in evening /morning, All sins of endless birth or seven lives will be destroyed.

Merukanchan dana naam gavam koti shate rapi
panch koti turangha nam tat phalam shiva darshanam.

A donation of gold, as big as Mount Meru , work of a million donated cows or five million horses is worth the vision of Lord Shiva.

Hariom
Tvameva mata cha pita tvameva
Tvameva bandhur cha sackha tvameva
Tvameva vidya dravinam tvameva
tvameva sarvam mama deva deva

You are the mother, You are the father, You are the relative, You are my best friend, You are education, You are wealth, You are everything for me, Oh Lord, Oh Lord.

Akashe tariaka lingam, patale bhatukeshvaram
Mrityu loke mahakalam, sarve lingam namostute

We bow to the heavenly Lingam of Tarika, in the underworld to Matkeshwaram, in the mortal world to Maha-kal. Postulations to all Lingam as one.

Jatadharam pandu rangam
Shula hastam kripa nidhim
Sarva roga haram shiv dattatreya maham baje

Sing the praise of Dattatreya adorned with matted hair, wearing the saffron robe, with the triadam in His hand, a treasure of compassion, giving relief from all sickness.

Nana sunghandhita pushpani yatha kalo dva vanicha,
Mantra pushapanjali marya dattam grahan parmeshvara

Like different fragrances of flowers are accepted by Him, may the Lord accept our garland of mantras?
