Following the remarquable Samadhi by Baba Santosh Puri, his disciples and family have started the construction of a temple above the place where he was burried.

Report February 2002

In between December 2001 and February 2002, the temple was constructed. A statue of Baba Sanbtosh Puri was made by Pieter Weltevrede and a large Shiva lingam was ritually placed inside, resting on the earth.

Report November 2001

In November 2001 the construction was planned and the fundraising was started among Baba Santosh Puri's devotees. By December 2001, the construction of the temple foundations was started. More information and new images will be added in spring, when the construction will have further developed.

To quote Mataji : "Our temple is growing out of the depth of Babaji's Samadhi.. Praying that our realizations are coming to flourish with it by the time. The Bhandara date will be full moon, the 22nd of February 2002. Ganga Puri is again preparing for a little trip to devotees, the "Babaji's Temple Seva". He brought already the financial means for the foundations and the first month of construction."

Report October 2001

The picture above was made in October 2001. The site contains a small shrine with an ever burning flame and is lined by a wooden fence. It is already a place of daily worship.
